I met with my PAGE group on May 18, 2012. I presented on creativity and gave many resources. My colleague, Susan McNamara, presented "Making Thinking Visible". GATE Saturday Computer Classes are now in session at Durfee School for 7-8 th grade GATE students. Classes are filled to capacity. Students are working on various projects and will be creating their own websites as well as other multi-media projects. Our technology teacher is Mrs. Cynthia Diaz.
Identification Tool Kit-
Designed as an identification tool and resource for our parents, teachers and psychologists, in order to make the identification process clear, easy to use and easy to access.
Social and Emotional Needs of the Gifted:
We have many resources for parents, students and teachers to educate themselves about the unique social and emotional needs of gifted students, these sections are:
